Wheel Cycle Trust is working in partnership with Suffolk County Council to develop a Quietway between Onehouse and Woolpit. The Quietway seeks to improve conditions for people walking, wheeling and cycling along the route.
You are invited to our second phase where we will be looking at possible solutions to some of the issues raised from our sessions in February.
Please do come along; tell your neighbours and help design a Quietway for your area.

20 mph for Woolpit village centre
The long awaited 20 mph speed restriction came into force in mid April. Not many drivers appear to have noticed as yet. New signs have been erected in places designated by the county council. Some signs are incorrect and small repeater signs for 30 mph remain to be taken down. The parish council has reported the errors to SCC Highways.
We all know that not everyone will obey the speed limit. There is not much anyone can do about the boy and girl racers but if you obey the speed limit then the car behind you must do so too.
