  • Autumn Bazaar

    Saturday 24th October 2020 1:00pm — 4:00pm

    Please make a note in your diary for
    Saturday 24th October from 1.00 pm to 4.00pm
    when Woolpit Village Hall will become the usual
    welcoming, bustling marketplace full of friends and
    brilliant stalls offering puzzles, games, toys, giftware, bric-a-brac, books and much more.
    Have a browse and start a little light Christmas shopping.
    Unfortunately we can’t offer lunches, snacks or drinks this year but the welcome will be both cordial and safe. We will ask you to wear a face covering and to use the hand sanitizer provided as well as to keep at least 2 metres apart from friends and stall holders.
    We would appreciate donations of items for a hamper raffle plus any good quality bric-a-brac and gifts.

    All proceeds are in aid of St Mary’s Church.

    As with everything at present, we are subject to unexpected restrictions if the pandemic spikes. We have every intention of going ahead but of course, we will obey the law if the situation changes

  • Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving

    St. Mary’s Church, Woolpit

    Sunday 1st November at 5:30 pm
    This is the annual service in which we remember those who have died.
    It is a quiet time in which we give thanks for those we have loved and have lost. In the service there will be a time to light a candle and to have names read out. There are forms available in the back of church for the names of those you wish to have remembered in the service.
    The number of people attending this service will need to be restricted so please let Rev. Ruth know if you wish to attend.
