  • Inori Aikido Club Beginners’ Course

    Thursday 5th January 2023 7:00pm — 9:00pm

    Inori Aikido club is starting a Beginners’ Course on 5th January 2023 at Woolpit Village Hall. Anyone who’s making New Year’s resolutions can come and try Aikido, a dynamic Japanese martial art that offers a great way to exercise your body, mind and spirit.
    This introductory course will focus on ukemi (how to fall safely), posture breaking, joint immobilization, and simple throws. As well as learning some unarmed techniques, people on the course will have the opportunity to try out two of the traditional weapons of Aikido – the sword and staff.
    The course is FREE (Save £45), runs every Thursday in January, from 7pm to 9pm and is open to anyone aged 7 and over.
