Sustainable Travel Event
Saturday 15th April 2023 11:00am — 3:00pm
Needham Lake
A community engagement event is being delivered by Suffolk County Council and Mid Suffolk District Council to showcase opportunities to get travelling more sustainably. Come along and test ride an electric bike, take part in our cycle powered games, balance bike try-outs for 3-5 year olds, see our Bike Doctor to get your bike fixed up and ride ready, book a led bike ride with a local Cycling UK ambassador to learn how to ride local routes safely and confidently, find out more about walking routes and activities and public transport in the area, and much more! Learn all about the benefits that changing your travel habits can bring, to our own health and well-being and to the local environment, and find out about how your local councils are trying to help us all make the switch to happier and healthier journeys. Don’t forget to bring your bike along to get it postcode stamped!
If you would like to book onto a bike fix session please email: thewaytogosuffolk@suffolk.gov.uk
