Planning applications

A concern has been raised that the Neighbourhood Plan should not be involved in sending out information about housing developments in Woolpit. Some people feel that it might compromise the impartiality of the Plan if we continue to do so.

In order to meet this concern, but still ensure that the community is kept up to date with the latest information about housing proposals, a new group has been formed: the Woolpit Village Conservation Group. It will maintain its own mailing list, and have its own webpages on the village website.

The Neighbourhood Plan will therefore provide no further updates about planning proposals and applications, in the newsletter, on its webpages, or by email.
